So last week I said I’d be writing about my favourite detox ever on Thursday’s post, but I decided to forgo my usual Thursday post and instead spend the time working on some behind the scenes stuff
Instead, I’ll share that post tomorrow, but as part of the post I’ll sharing a days worth of detox recipes throughout the week. All of the recipes are from Michelle MacLean, who has generously allowed me to share them all with you
First things first: Breakfast
Grain Free Porridge
2 tbsp nut butter
¼ cup shredded unsweetened coconut
6 tbsp warm water, almond milk, or coconut milk (full fat)
¼ tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp cinnamon
Silvered almonds or chopped walnuts for topping
Blueberries or strawberries for topping
Combine all ingredients in a small pot and mix thoroughly. Heat over low heat until mixture becomes warm but not hot. Pour into your serving bowl and top with nuts and fruit.
How awesome and simple is that?? I am in love with this recipe- it’s so freakin good and so easy, plus it’s gluten free, sugar free, dairy free!
