Cucumbers were on for 89 cents at my favourite grocery store last week, so I made a cucumber and fruit green juice every day. Today I’m sharing my favourite combo.
You need only 3 ingredients for this super simple (and super delicious) green juice, and you can make it with our without a juicer!
- 1 cucumber
- Half of a mini watermelon
- Juice of 1/2 lime
You can either run the ingredients through the juicer (I use this one), or run them through a blender (I use this one) and then strain through a nut milk bag. All of the ingredients have a really high water content, so even with the nut milk bag method, it will be really simple and you’ll yield a lot of juice.
Cucumber and watermelon are both natural diuretics, making them great choices if you have some water retention that you’re looking to release (diuretics help to flush excess fluids and salts from your body).
Even if you’re not in need of help with water retention, this is a delicious, hydrating juice full of antioxidants and nutrients.
